• Experience in up to 132 kV GIS, 33 kV switch gear and full testing and commissioning of protection relays (SEL, Siemens, Micom, ABB, GE, etc.).
• Proficiency with line differential protection, distance protection, transformer protection, and capacitor protection.
• Hands on experience with Electrical Substation Switchgear (SWGR) functionality, marshalling/LCC panel functionality and testing.
• Secondary injection testing of digital protection relays (ABB, Alstom/Schneider, Siemens, SEL, GE).
• Commissioning of control and protection schemes according to approved single line diagrams and protection logic diagrams.
• Addressing design issues per Project Technical Specification (TMSS).
• Testing of circuit breakers, transformers, instrument transformers (CT, PT), power cables, overhead transmission lines, transducers, auxiliary relays and digital meters.
• Preparation of testing procedures for various relays (ABB, Siemens, Alstom, GE, SEL).
• Reviewing red markup of protection and control schematics.
• Configuration of Substation Automation System (SAS) as Bay Level Engineer - configuring control and protection IEDs per approved schemes and SAS signals list, establishing communication with IED server and simulating signals via IEC 61850.

• Minimum five years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of protection relay testing and commissioning.
• Experience with substation automation systems and IEC 61850 communication.
• Familiarity with ABB, Alstom/Schneider, Siemens, SEL, GE, and Micom relay brands.
