Staff Engineer, Product Design and Engineering - Mechanical
As a Staff Engineer – Mechanical, you will be responsible for:
- Strategic interaction with customers located in Saudi Arabia (e.g., CSD, ADNOC and more).
- Building strong and reliable credibility with customers to intercept and share with the Engineering team any critical topic that must be addressed to guarantee smooth project execution from early bid phase to commissioning.
As a Senior Compressor Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Actively interacting with strategic customers located in Saudi Arabia, becoming a strategic entry point.
- Developing strong and reliable credibility toward customers, managing critical area of interest/concern for specific projects.
- Developing knowledge of centrifugal compressor technical standards and customer specifications (e.g., API 617, Saudi Aramco’s SAMS and more).
- Supporting Modon shop to fulfill project activities with rigor and respecting on‑time delivery.
- Providing engineering support to internal teams to assist with activities that span the full technical project life‑cycle (from ITO to commissioning) with a specific focus on projects located in Saudi Arabia.
- Overseeing relationships with global and local vendors to manage time zones and successful on‑time delivery of required components.
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of core disciplines including mechanics, structural dynamics, rotor dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid and aero dynamics, materials science, and structural analysis.
- Demonstrated technical expertise, leadership and influence skills expected for an individual contributor on complex parallel projects.
- Extensive technical experience in executing industrial processes such as fluid transport, liquid/gas compression, combustion, or heating and cooling systems.
- Proven track record in applying systems engineering methodologies and configuration management in a cross‑disciplinary organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead technical communities through influence.
