Lead Engineer, Product Design and Engineering - Mechanical

Responsibilities

• Design activities on our compressor and turboexpander products.
• Collaborate with multiple engineers and suppliers to ensure quality control and on‑time delivery.
• Convert new technology ideas into products, introducing innovations to an already pioneering business.

• Lead design activities and reviews to provide technical guidance and share project‑related status updates.

  • CAD drawings and mechanical configuration.
• Interact with strategic customers located in Saudi Arabia, serving as strategic entry point.
• Develop strong knowledge of centrifugal compressor technical standards and customer specifications (e.g., API 617, Saudi Aramco’s SAMS).
• Support the Modon shop for mechanical running tests, rotor balancing and related activities.
• Provide engineering support to internal teams across the full technical project life‑cycle (from ITO to commissioning), focused on projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Own the delivery of technical documentation and drawings to ensure consistency with engineering policies and contractual specifications.
• Oversee relationships with global and local vendors to manage time‑zones and ensure on‑time delivery of required components.

• Solid engineering background.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, thermodynamics or fluid dynamics.
• Experience using CAD software such as Unigraphics or similar.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and teamwork attitude in dealing with complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
• Problem‑solving ability with an analytical approach to identifying root causes and implementing solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
