- Supervise and oversee wet utilities works across a large-scale residential development of 2,000 villas.
- Monitor and inspect the installation of wet services systems including potable water, firefighting networks, stormwater drainage, sewage networks, and irrigation systems.
- Review design drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to contractors during construction and installation of wet utilities systems.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and local authorities for necessary permits and approvals.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of wet utilities systems to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget.
- Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation for submission to the Project Manager and client.
- Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed at all times on site.
- Assist in resolving technical issues and contractor queries related to wet utilities works.
- Support project close-out activities including as-built drawings review, O&M manuals, and final inspections.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8-12 years' experience in mechanical/wet utilities engineering on large-scale residential or infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
- Strong knowledge of wet utilities systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
- Experience with potable water supply, firefighting networks, stormwater, sewage, and irrigation systems.
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and authority requirements (e.g., Municipality, Civil Defense, Water Authority).
- Proven ability to manage contractors, review technical submittals, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar engineering software is an advantage.
- Valid driving license is required.
- Fluency in English is essential;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
