General Description of Role and Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee wet utilities works across a large-scale residential development of 2,000 villas.
Monitor and inspect the installation of wet services systems including potable water, firefighting networks, stormwater drainage, sewage networks, and irrigation systems.
Review design drawings, technical specifications, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements, codes, and standards.
Provide technical guidance and support to contractors during construction and installation of wet utilities systems.
Coordinate with project stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and local authorities for necessary permits and approvals.
Conduct site inspections, testing, and commissioning of wet utilities systems to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions to ensure project delivery within schedule and budget.
Prepare progress reports, inspection reports, and technical documentation for submission to the Project Manager and client.
Ensure health, safety, and environmental standards are followed at all times on site.
Assist in resolving technical issues and contractor queries related to wet utilities works.
Support project close-out activities including as-built drawings review, O&M manuals, and final inspections.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and

Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 8-12 years' experience in mechanical/wet utilities engineering on large-scale residential or infrastructure projects in the Middle East.
Strong knowledge of wet utilities systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning.
Experience with potable water supply, firefighting networks, stormwater, sewage, and irrigation systems.
Familiarity with Saudi Arabian codes, standards, and authority requirements (e.g., Municipality, Civil Defense, Water Authority).
Proven ability to manage contractors, review technical submittals, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD or similar engineering software is an advantage.
Valid driving license is required.
Fluency in English is essential;
Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
