To oversee and manage various activities related to Testing & Commissioning services at the worksite in order to ensure that the work is executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with the project plans, specifications, and quality standards through coordinating with different stakeholders, managing resources, and ensuring that the operation progresses smoothly and meets the project's objectives.

Operations

• Perform testing and commissioning of various systems within construction projects, including electrical, mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and other building systems
• Ensure that all systems and components are installed and functioning in accordance with project specifications, design drawings, and relevant codes and standards.
• Maintain detailed records of all testing and commissioning activities, including test plans, reports, and as-built drawings, to provide a comprehensive project history
• Identify and address any issues or discrepancies in system performance, and work with the project team to resolve them in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to coordinate the testing and commissioning process and ensure a smooth handover.
• Ensure that all systems and components meet safety regulations and standards, taking necessary actions to rectify any non-compliance issues

Operations

• Develop and adhere to testing and commissioning schedules to meet project deadlines and milestones
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion of their tasks.
• Regularly update project managers and stakeholders on the project's progress, highlighting any delays, challenges, or modifications needed to the initial plan keep all parties informed, and facilitate collaborative decision-making.
• Address on-site technical issues and challenges that arise during construction, proposing and implementing effective solutions and enabling project managers to implement risk management strategies promptly.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including drawings, reports, and records of materials used since the accurate documentation helps ensure that the construction project complies with local building codes, regulations, and legal requirements and provides a record of the project's adherence to safety, environmental, and zoning standards.
• Interact with clients, architects, and consultants to provide updates, address queries, and maintain a positive working relationship in order to keep all stakeholders informed about the current status of the project.

Operations

• Prepare the site for final handover, ensuring that all necessary inspections, tests, and documentation are completed for the facility management team for ongoing operations and maintenance and contributing to client satisfaction and a positive handover experience.
• Review and follow up on all SSRVs and control material waste on site to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost-effectiveness in the construction process.
• Proactively identify safety hazards and implement safety improvements to create a safer working environment for the construction workforce.
• Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements, leading to faster and more efficient project completion.
• Evaluate regularly resource utilization in order to ensure that materials, equipment, and labor are used optimally, reducing project delays and cost overruns.

• Follow all relevant Technical Services processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Demonstrate compliance with the organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value drive culture within the organization.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.

Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Management

• Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.

Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.

Education/Certification

• Bachelors in Engineering, or any other related field.

Experience

• 0-4 years’ related experience in roles within similar positions.

Languages

Skills

• Project Management, Troubleshooting, Quality Assurance Management, Stakeholder Engagement & Alignment, Design Interpretation & Engineering Detailing, Safety and Hygiene Practices.

Education/Certification

• Masters in Engineering, or any other related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar certifications.

Experience

• Experience in the EPC industry.
