Estimation Engineer - Flowmeter

Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, specifications, drawings and technical requirements.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations for Venturi Tubes, Orifice Flange Assemblies, Restriction Orifices, Thermowells, and other DP Flow Measurement Products.
• Perform material take‑offs and estimate manufacturing, machining, fabrication, welding, coating, testing and inspection costs.
• Select suitable raw materials and standard structural sizes based on project requirements.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production and sales teams to ensure accurate estimation.
• Interpret customer specifications and ensure compliance with applicable international standards.
• Evaluate manufacturing feasibility and recommend cost‑effective solutions.
• Maintain estimation records, cost databases and standard costing templates.
• Support technical clarifications during the bidding stage.
• Ensure quotations are submitted within customer deadlines while maintaining accuracy and competitiveness.

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience as an Estimation Engineer in a Manufacturing/Fabrication company that produces DP flow elements such as Venturi tubes, Orifice flange assemblies, Restriction orifices, and Thermowells.
• Strong working knowledge of structural sizes available in the market.
• Strong working knowledge of international codes for DP flow elements and thermowells such as ISO
  5167, RW Miller, WFC as per ASME PTC 19.3.
