Conduct site inspections to identify classify and estimate ferrous and non-ferrous scrap generated from demolition dismantling decommissioning industrial shutdown and recycling projects Accurately estimate recoverable material quantities grades composition purity contamination levels and market value to support commercial procurement and operational decisions Prepare material take-offs estimation reports recovery forecasts and technical recommendations to support project bidding material purchasing and asset valuation Identify reusable recyclable and saleable materials and recommend the most cost-effective recovery processing and disposal methods Verify material quantities through physical inspections engineering drawings inventories weighbridge records and on-site measurements Coordinate with project teams to ensure the proper segregation handling loading transportation and storage of recovered materials at AQG recycling facilities or other designated locations Monitor the movement of materials from project sites to recycling facilities ensuring accurate documentation traceability and reconciliation of dispatched and received quantities Support the evaluation of scrap purchasing opportunities by providing technical assessments recovery estimates and commercial recommendations based on prevailing market conditions Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international scrap metal prices recycling market trends and industry developments to support accurate material valuation and business decisions Participate in site visits client meetings and pre-bid surveys to collect technical information assess material availability and identify commercial opportunities Ensure compliance with company policies HSE standards environmental regulations and client specifications throughout estimation inspection and material handling activities Prepare accurate and timely technical reports inspection records and estimation documents while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of all commercial and business-sensitive information Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients suppliers site personnel and internal departments to support efficient project execution and business objectives Be willing to travel extensively throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at short notice and accept temporary assignments at project sites recycling facilities industrial plants ports or customer locations as required by business needs Occasional international travel may also be required The role operates within a multi-disciplinary project environment requiring close coordination with engineering procurement construction finance and external contractors The position ensures that project decisions are supported by accurate data forecasts and performance insights enabling timely and effective project execution.
QualificationBachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Experience3–5 years of experienceSkill & Competencies
Strong understanding of the different types of scrap materials of different shapes and sizes
Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills in English and Arabic Sales and Marketing skills
Market Research skills with analytical approach to solving business problems, knowledge of different types of vehicles and equipment used for loading and unloading of Scrap materials
Abilities to deal with competing demands and deliver results with limited supervision Numerical, budgeting and Team management skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to manage multiple projects
Ability to maintain a high standard of integrity and confidentiality
