Job Summary
CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to maintain and improve our electrical systems, ensuring operational efficiency and safety in our manufacturing facilities.
Job Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and components for manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical malfunctions in machinery, production lines, and plant infrastructure.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems to minimize downtime.
- Prepare and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical safety standards and regulations (e.g., NFPA, IEC).
- Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and production teams to optimize processes and equipment performance.
- Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, including budgeting and vendor coordination.
- Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
- Train and mentor junior electrical technicians as required.
- Develop and update electrical documentation and operating procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of industrial control systems (PLCs, VFDs, HMI).
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes and safety standards.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) is a plus.
