An opportunity is available for a qualified and experienced Planning Engineer to join a team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and supporting project execution to help ensure project timelines and milestones are achieved.
The position requires proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project
, along with strong analytical, reporting, communication, and coordination skills. The Planning Engineer will work closely with project teams to monitor progress, identify potential delays and risks, and recommend corrective actions when required.
The role is based in Dammam, with a requirement for the successful candidate to travel to Jubail as required by project needs
. Experience in construction, industrial, or oil and gas projects is preferred.
- Develop, update, and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential delays and risks.
- Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to support timely completion of activities.
- Analyze project performance and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
- Participate in project meetings and provide planning support.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Support project execution and project timeline management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Planning Engineer.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
