Accountant, Cost Accountant, Financial Reporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance.
• 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Analyze changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided to determine effects on costs.
• Researching material costs to ensure the accuracy of information in the company's accounting system.
• Evaluate the Bill of Material (BOM) for each product.
• Prepare budgeting reports (for the company and each department).
• Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare regular reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
• Examine costs to determine the most efficient methods.
• Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.
• Recommend cost efficiencies and initiate corrective actions to resolve cost discrepancies.
• Participate in physical inventory counts to ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Analyze and report profit margins internally.
• Prepare (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
• Assist with monthly and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Excellent in Microsoft Excel.
