We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, as well as a commitment to accuracy and efficiency. This position requires the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Accountant will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health of our organization by managing financial records, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting processes.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial reporting standards.

Conduct regular reconciliations of bank statements and other financial accounts.

Support the budgeting process by providing relevant financial data and analysis.

Collaborate with other departments to gather financial information and support decision-making processes.

Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying trends and variances.

Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Preferred Candidate

Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar financial role, with a minimum of 1 to 5 years in the field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills.

Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
