Primary Responsibilities
- Assist in recording daily journal entries and expense transactions.
- Support processing of vendor payments and verification of supporting documents.
- Assist with bank reconciliations for corporate accounts.
- Monitor cash inflows and outflows and support preparation of daily cash position reports.
- Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities.
- Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements.
- Perform basic variance analysis between budgeted and actual expenditures.
- Prepare financial summaries and reports under supervision.
- Use Microsoft Excel to support financial analysis, reporting, and dashboards.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent in a related field.
- COOP / Internship requirement as part of academic curriculum.
- No prior professional experience required.
- Basic academic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel; exposure to ERP systems (., Oracle) is an advantage.
