This role requires strong leadership, hands‑on technical expertise across on‑premises and cloud environments, proven project management skills, and a focus on service delivery, security, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities - IT Operations, Infrastructure & Service Delivery
  • Lead and manage IT operations including systems administration, network engineering, endpoint management, and help desk/service desk functions to ensure high availability and excellent user experience.
  • Oversee design, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure across on‑premises and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), including servers, virtualization, storage, networking, and backup/recovery solutions.
  • Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and standards covering configuration management, change control, incident management, problem management, and asset lifecycle.
  • Manage security and compliance initiatives in collaboration with security and privacy teams, including patch management, vulnerability remediation, access controls, encryption, and monitoring.
  • Drive continuous improvement through automation, infrastructure‑as‑code, monitoring/observability, and performance tuning to improve resilience, reduce manual work, and optimize costs.
  • Own vendor and third‑party relationships for hardware, software, cloud services, and support contracts; evaluate and negotiate contracts and service‑level agreements.
  • Plan and execute IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts using effective project management and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Provide technical mentorship and professional development for IT staff; recruit, coach, and develop a high‑performing, customer‑focused team.
  • Maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans; lead incident response and post‑incident reviews to reduce recurrence and improve operational readiness.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand technology needs, translate requirements into scalable solutions, and support digital transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications - Skills & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5+ years of progressive IT experience with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role overseeing IT operations or infrastructure teams.
  • Hands‑on experience managing servers, storage, virtualization (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V), networking (routing, switching, firewalls), and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Demonstrated experience with IT service management practices (ITIL‑aligned), incident/change/problem management, and service desk operations.
  • Strong understanding of security best practices, identity and access management (e.g., Active Directory, Azure AD), endpoint protection, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with automation and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and familiarity with CI/CD, monitoring, and logging solutions.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills; ability to balance operational priorities with strategic initiatives.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, develop talent, and foster a collaborative, service‑oriented culture.
Preferred Qualifications - Tools, Certifications & Domain Experience
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified:
Azure Administrator/Engineer, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL Foundation, or similar are a plus.
  • Experience in SaaS or fast‑growing technology environments, supporting distributed or hybrid work forces, and managing remote/partnered IT teams.
  • Familiarity with endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf), identity federation, SSO, and modern collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace).
  • Prior experience managing cloud migrations, network redesigns, or major technology consolidation programs is advantageous.
Work Environment & Compensation - IT Manager Salary & Benefits
  • Full‑time position with an onsite work model.
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plan options, paid time off, and flexible work policies.
  • Opportunities for professional development, training, and support for certifications; clear career growth paths within a collaborative and inclusive workplace.
  • Culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, work‑life balance, and employee well‑being.
