Data Analyst, Business Intelligence
The Data Analyst is responsible for collecting, organizing, validating, analyzing, and presenting operational and business data to support informed decision-making across WISKOTS.
The position will convert data from different business functions into accurate, meaningful, and actionable information. The role will support management and departments in monitoring performance, identifying trends, evaluating operational efficiency, improving reporting quality, and developing reliable dashboards and analytical reports.
The Data Analyst shall work closely with Operations, Business Development, Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, Inventory, QHSE, and other relevant functions to establish consistent data structures, reporting methods, performance indicators, and management information.
Data Collection and Management- Collect data from business systems, spreadsheets, reports, databases, and departmental records.
- Consolidate information from multiple functions into structured and reliable datasets.
- Review the completeness, consistency, accuracy, and validity of received data.
- Identify missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or inaccurate information and coordinate its correction.
- Develop and maintain standardized data-entry templates and reporting formats.
- Establish clear data definitions, classifications, naming conventions, and reporting rules.
- Maintain organized records of source data, calculations, assumptions, and report versions.
- Support the development of controlled master-data records for customers, suppliers, employees, projects, equipment, inventory, and services.
- Ensure that confidential and commercially sensitive information is properly handled.
- Analyze operational, financial, commercial, human-resource, inventory, procurement, and project data.
- Identify trends, correlations, patterns, variances, exceptions, and performance gaps.
- Compare actual performance against targets, budgets, schedules, forecasts, and historical results.
- Perform root-cause analysis for significant deviations or recurring issues.
- Develop analytical models to support operational planning and business decisions.
- Conduct productivity, utilization, cost, revenue, profitability, and efficiency analyses.
- Analyze project performance, including manpower deployment, equipment use, working hours, progress, delays, standby, and cost impacts.
- Support forecasting and scenario analysis based on available business data.
- Clearly distinguish between confirmed information, assumptions, estimates, and analytical conclusions.
- Prepare periodic management reports, dashboards, charts, summaries, and analytical presentations.
- Develop key performance indicator dashboards for different departments and management levels.
- Present complex information in a clear and understandable format.
- Automate recurring reports where practical and appropriate.
- Maintain consistency between source data, calculations, dashboards, and final reports.
- Develop exception reports highlighting significant deviations, risks, and required management actions.
- Provide concise analytical commentary explaining what changed, why it changed, and its potential business impact.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual performance-review processes.
- Extract, consolidate, and analyze data from Zoho applications and other company systems.
- Support reporting and dashboard development using available Zoho capabilities.
- Assist departments in improving the quality and consistency of data entered into Zoho.
- Review workflows, fields, classifications, and reporting structures from a data-analysis perspective.
- Coordinate with system administrators or external providers when technical configuration is required.
- Support data migration, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, traceable, and suitable for management decision-making.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or another relevant discipline.
