About the RoleWe are looking for a Network Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Juniper networking technologies to design, deploy, configure, manage and optimize enterprise network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate should have practical experience with Juniper routers, switches and SRX firewalls, along with strong networking fundamentals and the ability to work in multi-vendor environments. Exposure to EVPN, Apstra and Mist will be an added advantage.
The role involves network implementation, routing and switching, security configuration, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, infrastructure upgrades and coordination with network, security and cloud teams.
Primary Skills – Mandatory- Juniper Networking: Hands-on experience with Juniper routers, switches and SRX firewalls.
- Juniper Junos OS: Configuration, troubleshooting and network operations.
- Routing & Switching: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, MPLS, VLAN, STP and QoS.
- EVPN / VXLAN: Understanding of EVPN-VXLAN architectures.
- Network Security: Firewall policies, VPN configuration, IPSec/SSL VPN and security troubleshooting.
- Multi-Vendor Networking: Ability to work across Juniper, Cisco and Forti Gate environments.
- Important: Hands-on Juniper experience is mandatory.
- Juniper Apstra – Data-centre fabric management and automation.
- Juniper Mist – AI-driven networking, wireless management and network assurance.
- Firewall Technologies: Cisco ASA, Juniper SRX and Forti Gate; IDS/IPS solutions.
- Network Monitoring: Solar Winds, PRTG, Nagios and Wireshark.
- Enterprise Networking: LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, WLAN, Cisco Meraki and Aruba.
- Cloud Networking: AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud.
- Operations: Root-cause analysis, capacity planning, network upgrades, performance optimization, documentation and change management.
- Certifications: JNCIA/JNCIP, CCNA/CCNP or NSE4 and above are preferred.
