The Supply Chain Supervisor is responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and vendor coordination. This role ensures the timely availability of materials and services, cost optimization, and compliance with company policies and industry standards, while driving operational efficiency across the supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily supply chain activities, including material planning, procurement, warehousing, and distribution.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize lead times, reduce costs, and improve inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Production, Quality, and Finance to align supply chain operations with project timelines and budgets.
- Manage vendor selection, qualification, and performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and timely deliveries.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain KPIs to identify risks, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, contractual obligations, and company standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of supply chain staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Implement digital tools and ERP systems to streamline procurement and inventory processes.
- Prepare periodic reports for management on supply chain performance and cost efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in supply chain operations, preferably in manufacturing, oil & gas, or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics management, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective leadership and team management capabilities.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and cost control.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
