Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate material requirements planning (MRP) systems to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Analyze inventory levels and forecast demand to minimize excess stock and reduce carrying costs, ensuring optimal inventory turnover.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including procurement, production, and logistics to coordinate material flow and align production schedules.
- Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to ensure quality and reliability and negotiate terms to achieve cost‑effective procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3‑5 years of experience in material planning or inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
- Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP are highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP systems like SAP or Oracle.
