Job Purpose

The Procurement Specialist plays a key role in managing the purchasing of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, and maintaining strong supplier relationships. This position involves executing procurement activities, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Purchasing

    Activities:

    Process purchase orders, source and evaluate suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms.
  • Supplier Management:
    Maintain supplier records, monitor performance, and resolve delivery or quality issues.
  • Compliance & Documentation:
    Ensure adherence to policies and regulations while maintaining procurement records.
  • Coordination & Communication:
    Collaborate with internal departments and communicate with suppliers to track orders.
  • Reporting:
    Generate procurement reports and assist in preparing key performance metrics.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 0 year of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Certifications such as CIPS or APICS are preferred.
  • Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP or Microsoft PP).
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
