  • Getting feedback from reliever at the start of his shift.
  • Giving feedback to his coming reliever at the end of his shift.
  • Lifting hot billets from cooling bed and transferring on to the inspection table.
  • Transferring billets after inspection to stacking / staging area.
  • Transferring billets after inspection and / or stacking area for onward dispatch.
  • Reporting immediately all problems of cranes to shift supervisor.
  • Operating 50 t crane on caster bay when required for lid removal / placement, tundish shifting, slag box changing, mould body changing etc.
  • Proper housekeeping of crane cabin & periphery areas.
  • Perform any other jobs as assigned by the shift supervisor.
