Aircraft Cabin Maintenance Technician

• Technical Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical with at least 2 years of work experience.
• High School diploma with 6 years of work experience and at least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Any certification or license recognized and approved by the aviation authorities or GACA such as Airframe and Powerplant.

• Perform typical interior aircraft maintenance and IFE configuration tasks to support the interior maintenance department.
• Conduct general visual inspections of all passenger overhead compartments, ceiling panels, galleys, and lavatories for damage, scratches, chipped laminate, and water leaks.
• Perform inflight entertainment (IFE) system operational checks and operational checks of all passenger and attendant seats.
• Inspect all passenger seats for damage and missing parts.
• Remove and install passenger comfort components for the cabin and IFE system.
• Troubleshoot all malfunctioning systems for cabin and IFE and correct them as required.
• Carry out water tank disinfection and lavatories waste line cleaning.
• Install and remove stretcher kits and medical oxygen equipment.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections such as A CHK, ISC, and DCC in accordance with the approved maintenance schedule.
• Review logbooks for cabin and IFE related defects and rectify them as required.
• Complete routine inspection sheets and ensure compliance with routine maintenance requirements, inspections, and checks tasks.
• Conduct daily routine pre flight inspections upon arrival of the aircraft to review the cabin maintenance logbook and aircraft maintenance logbook, rectify minor defects or malfunctions recorded by flight crew, and maintain records of actions taken such as clearing MELs, NEFs in accordance with maintenance procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls across the department.
