Technical Product Specialist - Furniture

Job OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Technical Product Specialist - Furniture To translate approved product designs into fully engineered, producible, and installable products by owning all technical aspects of product development. The role ensures alignment between design intent, manufacturing capability, system data accuracy, and on-site installation practicality.
Key Responsibilities- Define and standardize all technical components of assigned products, including:
- Hardware systems
- Accessories
- Assembly methods
- Prepare and validate technical documentation, including:
- CNC drilling and machining programs
- Detailed technical drawings
- Exploded views and assembly diagrams
- Create, maintain, and control:
- Master Data
- Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Product technical specifications
- Coordinate closely with:
- Factory and production teams
- CNC operators
- Installation and site teams
- Ensure products comply with:
- Quality standards
- Factory production capabilities
- Installation feasibility and efficiency
- Support troubleshooting activities related to production, installation, and post-installation technical issues.
- Participate in product validation, pilot runs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following disciplines:
- Mechanical Engineering
- Production Engineering
- Proven background in furniture or modular manufacturing environments.
- 4–7 years of hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Wardrobe systems
- Modular furniture production
- Experience working in coordination with factories, installers, and cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of CNC drilling logic and machining principles
- In-depth knowledge of furniture hardware systems and accessories
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production workflows
- Practical experience with ERP systems and Master Data management
- Strong problem-solving and analytical mindset
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective coordination and cross-functional communication skills
- Ability to translate complex designs into clear, executable technical solutions
- Experience in mass production or multi-factory environments
- Familiarity with modular system standardization
- Exposure to installation standards and on-site constraints
