Production Engineer - HVAC - Ductwork

Responsibilities

• Support daily factory production activities and ensure smooth workflow execution across all manufacturing stages.
• Prepare and monitor daily production schedules in coordination with Production Management and Project teams.
• Optimize production processes, machine utilization and manpower allocation to improve operational efficiency.
• Coordinate and supervise CNC cutting, GI duct fabrication, Fire Rated Ductwork and Pre-Insulated PIR Phenolic duct production activities.
• Ensure production activities comply with SMACNA, DW144, UL181 standards where applicable.
• Monitor production quality, dimensional accuracy and fabrication standards to minimize defects and rework.
• Track material usage, wastage and production output, and report variances to management.
• Assist in troubleshooting production issues, machine breakdowns and process bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Maintenance and QA/QC teams to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Support implementation of lean manufacturing, process improvements and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, PPE usage and Saudi regulatory standards within the production area.
• Maintain production records, machine logs and daily progress reports.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Industrial / Production Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in HVAC duct manufacturing or sheet metal fabrication.
• Hands‑on experience with CNC cutting machines and duct fabrication processes.
• Experience in GI ducting, Fire Rated Ductwork, and PIR / Phenolic duct systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with SMACNA / DW144 fabrication standards.
• Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience with ERP systems and production reporting tools is an advantage.
• GCC experience will be an added advantage.
