New Development Plans
The Operations Director will drive the strategic growth of the manufacturing unit, including:
- Establish a dedicated facility for valve production with design, manufacturing, and testing capabilities.
- Develop engineering expertise and infrastructure to support API‑compliant valve manufacturing.
- Set up BOP repair and recertification processes to expand revenue streams.
- Develop BOP testing and certification capabilities in compliance with industry standards.
- Lead the design, development, and production of choke manifolds, ensuring compliance with API 16C.
- Establish a manufacturing and testing framework to meet oilfield customer requirements.
- Optimize pressure vessel fabrication processes for higher efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
- Upgrade plant capabilities to handle advanced pressure vessel specifications.
he will have direct accountability for managing costs, tracking cost variances, and achieving budgeted financial targets.
- Monitor and analyze cost variances for all products, ensuring costs remain within budgeted parameters.
- Provide cost‑saving initiatives to optimize manufacturing efficiency without compromising quality.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce material waste and improve cost efficiency.
- Ensure revenue targets are met as per the annual budget goals.
- Work closely with finance and procurement teams to manage material costs and production expenses.
- Identify cost reduction opportunities and implement strategies to improve profitability.
- Submit a monthly plan vs. actual cost report, highlighting cost deviations and corrective actions.
- Regularly assess operational expenses and recommend budget adjustments based on cost performance.
- Ensure JDE ERP system captures real‑time cost data for accurate financial planning.
Oversee daily plant operations, ensuring efficiency and quality compliance.
Ensure adherence to API 16A, 16C, 6A, 5CT, 7‑1, and ASME certifications.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
JDE ERP System Implementation & Cost TrackingEnsure JDE ERP system is fully functional, enabling cost tracking and operational visibility.
Drive ERP adoption across departments, ensuring timely inputs by employees.
Maintain data integrity and real‑time cost monitoring for strategic decision‑making.
Leadership & Employee DevelopmentMentor and lead plant staff, ensuring cross‑functional collaboration for operational success.
Quality & ComplianceEnsure all manufacturing activities comply with safety and regulatory standards.
Education RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Manufacturing.
Experience Requirements10+ years of experience in manufacturing management within the oil & gas industry.
Strong experience in cost control, revenue management, and ERP system implementation (JDE preferred).
Expertise in API‑certified and ASME‑certified manufacturing environments.
Proven ability to analyze cost variances and implement cost‑saving strategies.
