Position: Spray Painter / Blaster - Pressure Vessels

In line with our growth and commitment to quality, we are currently seeking a skilled Spray Painter / Blaster with expertise in pressure‑vessel painting to join our team in the Oil & Energy sector. This position plays a vital role in ensuring that our pressure vessels are finished to the highest standards, effectively contributing to the overall quality and functionality of our products.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare surfaces of pressure vessels for painting by cleaning, sanding, and removing rust or old paint as necessary.
  • Apply protective coatings and finishes to pressure vessels using spray painting techniques to meet quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain spray painting equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
  • Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure it meets project specifications and quality requirements.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling paint and blasting materials to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to coordinate and optimize workflow in the painting and blasting areas.
  • Document work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a spray painter or blaster, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of painting and blasting techniques, particularly relating to pressure vessel fabrication.
  • Familiarity with safety standards and regulations associated with handling chemicals and hazardous materials.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications related to painting and coating processes.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality finishes.
  • Excellent communication skills and capability to work efficiently as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks involving standing, lifting, and using painting equipment.
