The Operational Planning Team Leader is responsible for leading and coordinating Production Planning and Material Planning activities to ensure smooth manufacturing operations, material readiness, and on‑time project execution. The role ensures alignment between production schedules, material availability, factory capacity, and operational priorities while supporting continuous improvement and cross‑functional coordination across Planning, SCM, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and Project Management teams.
How you’ll make an impact- Lead and supervise Production Planners and Material Planners to ensure alignment with operational priorities and business targets.
- Ensure production schedules are aligned with factory capacity, material availability, engineering readiness, and project priorities.
- Monitor overall factory load and coordinate balancing activities to avoid under loading or overloading situations.
- Oversee material availability and readiness to support production and project delivery requirements.
- Coordinate closely with SCM, Engineering, Production, Warehouse, and Project Management teams to ensure smooth operational execution.
- Monitor operational KPIs including production adherence, material shortages, overdue orders, and delivery performance.
- Lead operational review meetings and follow up on action plans related to production delays, bottlenecks, and material risks.
- Ensure operational risks and missed milestones are properly tracked, communicated, and escalated when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning, material planning, and operational workflows.
- Support ERP/SAP planning accuracy including lead times, planning parameters, and reporting alignment.
- Be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
- Professional certifications in Planning or Operations Management are considered an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with Engineering, SCM, Production, Warehouse, and Project Management teams.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
