Industrial Workshop Manager

Overview

The role of the Industrial Workshop Manager involves direct supervision of all workshop operations and monitoring daily work processes.

• Overseeing all activities in the industrial workshop and tracking daily work progress.
• Preparing and organizing work plans and distributing tasks to technicians and workers according to project priorities.
• Monitoring the execution of manufacturing, welding, cutting, and shaping tasks, ensuring compliance with technical drawings and specifications.
• Quality control of completed work and ensuring adherence to quality and occupational safety standards.
• Supervising the operation and maintenance of workshop equipment and coordinating maintenance schedules as needed.
• Monitoring workshop material needs and submitting purchase requests as necessary.
• Coordinating with project management and engineering departments to ensure timely completion of tasks as per the specified schedule.
• Monitoring workshop productivity and working on improving performance and increasing operational efficiency.
• Ensuring the implementation of safety and health systems and procedures within the workshop.
• Preparing regular reports on work processes and production and submitting them to management.
• Training and guiding workers, evaluating their performance, and recommending appropriate development programs.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workshop and ensuring optimal use of materials and equipment.
• Executing any other tasks assigned by management related to the role.

• Experience in managing and operating industrial workshops.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and assembly processes of industrial structures and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering schematics.
• Knowledge of cutting, shaping, welding, and assembly operations.
