Job Purpose

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for conducting preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, equipment, and utility systems to ensure maximum efficiency and minimal downtime. The role requires troubleshooting technical issues, adhering to safety and environmental regulations, and supporting the overall operational performance of the manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production machines to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to maintain optimal production flow.
  • Identify faults, execute necessary repairs, and ensure quick restoration of machinery functionality.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) regulations.
  • Assist in managing the spare parts inventory and ensure the availability of critical components.
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new machines and production equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, log repairs, and update technical manuals.
  • Participate in initiatives to improve maintenance procedures and increase equipment reliability.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Minimum 1year of hands-on experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance.
