Job Summary
CROWN Arabia Can Company Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical equipment and systems within our manufacturing facility. This role ensures the efficient and reliable operation of production machinery, minimizing downtime and optimizing performance.
Job Responsibilities- Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including presses, conveyors, motors, pumps, and other production machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical malfunctions and effectively troubleshoot issues using blueprints, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
- Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of defective parts, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control.
- Conduct equipment inspections and identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and resolve recurring issues.
- Provide support for emergency breakdowns and respond promptly to critical equipment failures.
- Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in a can manufacturing or similar high-volume production setting.
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Skilled in using a variety of hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety regulations.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
