Quality Control Manager

Industry: Electrical Manufacturing Switchgear (LV & MV)

We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead our Quality Control function within Industrial Operations. This role is critical in ensuring that our manufactured equipment meets customer specifications, international standards, and the highest levels of quality - right the first time.

As Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance of final products and manufacturing processes with customer requirements and international standards (IEC, ANSI, NEMA, UL). You will drive a culture of First Time Right, continuous improvement, and optimal use of resources while ensuring customer satisfaction during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).

• Ensure conformity of incoming materials, in-process inspections, and final products with approved specifications and standards
• Develop and implement quality plans, inspection, and testing procedures
• Lead and conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and manage customer feedback and closure
• Record, analyze, and report non-conformities and Manufacturing Defect Rate (MDR)
• Drive quality improvement initiatives across Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain
• Manage, coach, and develop the QC team (Engineers & Technicians)
• Optimize QC resources, man-hours, and department efficiency
• Support field service teams during commissioning and start-up when required

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering
• 10-15 years of experience in a switch gear manufacturing company (mandatory)
• Strong knowledge of IEC, ANSI, NEMA, UL, NEC standards
• Expertise in LV & MV switch gear, electrical circuits, and protection systems
• Well-versed in ISO 9001, OSHAS, and manufacturing best practices
• Exposure to TQM / Lean Six Sigma and quality digitalization is a plus
• Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills
• Proficient in MS Office
