Role Purpose

To ensure works are performed in accordance with project specifications, project quality plan, and that contractual obligations are met to support the Quality Management System, overall QC strategy, regulatory requirements, and effective Quality Control (QC).

Key Accountabilities
  • Follow all relevant QAQC processes, policies, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
  • Demonstrate compliance to the organization’s values and ethics at all times to support the establishment of a value‑driven culture within the organization.
Interpreting and Applying Quality Standards
  • Interpret drawings, schematic diagrams, and formulas, to ensure correct application of quality standards on projects.
  • Administers tests at specific stages as identified on Inspection and Test Plan (ITP), to record test data in support of statistical quality control procedures.
  • Liaise with the Superintendent and subcontractors to verify works are conducted in alignment with drawings, material submittals, and project specifications.
  • Identify deficiencies and inform the construction team, ensuring their rectification prior to work finalization.
  • Observe sites for correct quality control in relation to contractual agreements, to ensure deviations are identified and reported.
Quality Surveillance and Implementation
  • Scrutinize quality control on site against contractual agreements and Inspection Test Plan (ITP), to ensure their correct implementation.
  • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement and sustainability of systems, processes and practices considering global standards, productivity improvement and cost reduction.
Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) Management

Conduct all activities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in compliance with internal policies and guidelines.

Reporting
  • Assist in the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet department requirements, policies, and quality standards.
Technical Essential
  • Education/Certification
    Bachelors in Engineering, or any other related field.
  • Experience
    0-4 years’ related experience in roles within similar positions.
  • Skills
    Project Management, Data Analysis & Management, Regulatory Compliance Knowledge, Quality Control Management, Quality Management System (QMS) Proficiency, Mathematical Modeling.
Technical Preferred
  • Experience
    Experience in the EPC industry.
  • Skills
    Action Oriented, Ensures Accountability, Collaborates, Communicates Effectively, Self
    - Development, Situational Adaptability.
