Senior Quality Control Technician

The opportunity

Executes attentively incoming inspection protocols as assigned and reports findings and results in SAP. Performs labeling of all components with a component identification tag if components are compliant through inspection. When a component fails inspection, restrains it to the dedicated area and initiates the supplier non‑conformance management process to report the issue to suppliers.

• Ensure a safe environment by implementing HSE requirements
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspection of purchased parts, materials, samples and assemblies
• Document inspection results as required
• Report deviations observed during incoming inspection to the quality engineer or quality manager
• Create quality inspection records and apply visual indications on inspected parts as per procedures
• Create nonconformance reports and track their status
• Record and track daily IQC inspection backlog
• Maintain traceability of component materials with respect to inspection status
• Handle materials in accordance with procedures and prevent mix‑ups, damage or other adverse effects
• Log and track materials through the receiving inspection process and SAP entries
• Record transactions and move materials to an accepted material area
• Communicate inspection results to quality engineers and other relevant persons
• Verify assembly documentation accuracy, read engineering drawings, etc.
• Perform any other projects or duties that may be assigned
• Collaborate with other departments for deviation detection, root‑cause analysis and implementation of correction measures
• Support failure analysis, troubleshooting, site visits, reporting and quality processes, using the A3 template for analysis
• Carry out any tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfill job requirements

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical technical courses
• 3–5 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance
• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Hands‑on inspection of material and use of measurement tools
• English communication skills
