Testing Supervisor

Performs routine tests through a lean & flow production line with outstanding performance. The role targets the best quality, maximum cost saving, and shortest delivery time. Controls the quality of GIS, maintains Test Report Database, actively contributes to improving manufacturing processes, and maintains a safe and clean work environment.

• Perform Assembly, repair and routine tests (Mechanical, 10KV, HV, functional & resistance measurements) of GIS bays (including components & modules) according to the prepared work instructions, drawings, bill of materials, checklists, guidelines and customer order data.
• Fulfill orders related to work packages according to production data and instructions.
• Self-check work packages results, filling out and confirming on assigned checklists and Protocols.
• Target the best performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery time.
• Quality control and immediate escalation of Quality issues. Record deviation, support root cause of failure and write quality problems/non-conformance reports.
• Support gathering product improvement comment/feedback from the GIS LSC (local Service Center) engineers.
• Actively support teamwork, effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customer/stakeholder/colleagues (assembly, testing, logistic, etc.).
• Independently follow the factory rules & guidelines related to safety, quality, environment, recycling and housekeeping.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following ABB-HSE guidelines and reporting any irregularities to superiors.
• Contribute actively to the continued improvement process and Lean culture.
• Provide feedback, share ideas, and observations whenever possible.
• Carry out any tasks assigned by management necessary to fulfil the job requirements.
• Adequate handling of factory equipment and tools, maintain test equipment and sustain proper continuous calibration.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• 2-3 years' experience in laboratory or testing activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and material lists.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to interact professionally with a diverse group.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
