Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Electrical Inspector with expertise in National Electric Code (NEC/NFPA 70) to oversee the quality inspection of electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities for Oil & Gas/EPC projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all electrical works comply with project specifications, client requirements, and international quality standards while possessing the required QM approvals (QM-01, QM-16, QM-17, QM-18, QM-19, QM-21, QM-22, QM-36, QM-46, QM-47, and QM-04).
Roles & Responsibilities- Inspect the installation of electrical equipment, switch gear, transformers, MCCs, panels, cable trays, cable laying, and cable terminations.
- Verify earthing, lighting systems, electrical testing, and commissioning activities.
- Review electrical drawings, inspection requests, and QA/QC documentation.
- Witness FAT, SAT, insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and commissioning activities.
- Coordinate inspections with construction teams, consultants, and client representatives.
- Prepare inspection reports, quality records, punch lists, and inspection documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project quality plans, client specifications, and international electrical standards.
- Identify non-conformities, raise NCRs, and monitor corrective and preventive actions.
- Support project completion, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5-10 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, Power, or EPC projects.
- Experience in Saudi Aramco, SEC, TAQA, ADNOC, or similar utility projects is preferred.
- API SIRE/API AIFE Certification with CBT (Mandatory/Preferred as per project requirements).
- Strong knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC/NFPA 70), IEC, IEEE, Saudi Aramco standards, and QA/QC inspection procedures.
- QM Approvals: QM-01, QM-16, QM-17, QM-18, QM-19, QM-21, QM-22, QM-36, QM-46, QM-47, and QM-04.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to work in Saudi Arabia.
