Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Mechanical Inspector with expertise in API 653, API 570, API 510
, and CWI/CSWIP certifications to support Oil & Gas/EPC projects in Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all mechanical construction, installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning activities comply with project specifications, international standards, and client quality requirements. Candidates must possess the required QM approvals (QM-03, QM-05, QM-07, QM-30, QM-31, QM-34, QM-35, QM-37, and QM-68) and have hands‑on experience in QA/QC inspection of mechanical equipment, piping, pressure vessels, storage tanks, and rotating equipment.
Experience in Saudi Aramco, SEC, TAQA, ADNOC
, or similar Oil & Gas projects will be an added advantage.
- Perform quality inspections of mechanical equipment, piping systems, pressure vessels, storage tanks, valves, and rotating equipment.
- Inspect fabrication, installation, erection, and testing activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and international standards.
- Witness hydrotests, pneumatic tests, pressure tests, mechanical completion, and commissioning activities.
- Conduct material receiving inspections and verify material certificates and documentation.
- Review Inspection Requests (IRs), Method Statements, ITPs, QA/QC documentation, and project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections with QA/QC Engineers, construction teams, subcontractors, consultants, and client representatives.
- Monitor welding, fabrication, coating, and mechanical installation activities to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
- Identify non‑conformities, raise NCRs, and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare inspection reports, punch lists, quality records, and daily inspection documentation.
- Ensure compliance with project Quality Management Systems (QMS), HSE requirements, and client standards.
- Support pre-commissioning, commissioning, mechanical completion, and final project handover activities.
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–10 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or EPC projects.
- Strong experience with API 653 (Storage Tanks), API 570 (Piping Inspection), and API 510 (Pressure Vessel Inspection).
- Valid CWI (Certified Welding Inspector) or CSWIP Certification is mandatory.
- QM Approvals: QM-03, QM-05, QM-07, QM-30, QM-31, QM-34, QM-35, QM-37, and QM-68.
- Experience in Saudi Aramco, SEC, TAQA, ADNOC, or similar utility/Oil & Gas projects is preferred.
- API SIRE/API AIFE Certification with CBT (Mandatory/Preferred as per project requirement).
- Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ASTM, ISO, and Saudi Aramco standards, along with QA/QC inspection procedures.
- Excellent documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
- Willingness to relocate and work in Saudi Arabia.
