Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Plant Inspector (Drone Pilot) with strong expertise in UAV operations, smart inspection technologies, and industrial asset inspection. The role involves conducting indoor/outdoor and confined-space drone inspections, thermal imaging, leak detection, RVI, UT and ANDT activities for tanks, towers, pipe racks, flare stacks and other industrial assets. The candidate will be responsible for collecting accurate inspection data, supporting asset integrity assessments, and preparing digital inspection reports while maintaining high safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities- Conduct indoor, outdoor and confined-space UAV inspections of industrial assets, including tanks, towers, pipe racks and flare stacks.
- Perform thermal imaging, leak detection, visual/RVI and drone-assisted inspection activities.
- Support ANDT and UT inspection workflows, including Scorpion UT, where applicable.
- Capture inspection-grade images, videos, thermal data and other technical information for engineering and asset integrity assessments.
- Integrate UAV, RVI, UT and other inspection outputs into digital inspection and reporting workflows.
- Support corrosion assessment, anomaly identification and condition monitoring of plant assets.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, Work Instructions (WI), procedures and EHSS documentation.
- Support automated and AI-assisted inspection/reporting processes where applicable.
- Coordinate with inspection, reliability, integrity and engineering teams to ensure efficient execution of inspection activities.
- Ensure compliance with UAV regulations, site safety procedures, EHSS requirements and operational standards.
- Proven experience in UAV/drone operations and industrial/plant inspection.
- Relevant experience in oil & gas, petrochemical, infrastructure or industrial asset inspection.
- Hands‑on experience inspecting tanks, towers, pipe racks, flare stacks and similar structures using drones.
- Valid Saudi GACA UAS 107 Commercial Drone Operator Licence.
- Practical experience with thermal imaging and industrial drone inspection.
- Knowledge/experience of RVI, ANDT and UT inspection workflows is preferred.
- Ability to collect, manage and interpret inspection data and prepare technical/digital reports.
- Strong understanding of UAV safety, industrial site safety and EHSS requirements.
- Saudi Arabia/KSA industrial inspection experience is strongly preferred.
