Sales Optician Job Dammam area,Eastern Province Saudi Arabia,Retail

Responsibilities

Identify customer needs and recommend suitable products (frames, lenses, CL, sunglasses).
Drive conversion, upselling, cross-Selling and promotions execution.
Achieving individual sales targets and supporting store performance.
Deliver a professional and engaging customer journey.
Handle customer inquiries and basic complaints effectively.
Build customer relationships and loyalty.
Read and understand prescriptions accurately.
Support basic fitting, adjustments, and product selection.
Assist opticians in handling technical requirements when needed.
Check prescription, fitting, and product specifications.
Ensure no defects and full match with customer order.
Support zero-error delivery and resolve issues before handover.
Process transactions accurately through POS system.
Support insurance approvals and documentation.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Maintain stock accuracy and proper product handling.
Report shortages, damages, and discrepancies.
Maintain product knowledge across categories.
Work with team to achieve store targets.
Support opticians and sales team during peak times.
Contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
Follow company policies and procedures.
Maintain professional and ethical behavior.
Ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
Other duties as assigned within the scope of the job.

Requirements

Skills and Abilities:

Strong sales and customer service skills; good understanding of insurance and POS systems; ability to read prescriptions and ensure dispensing accuracy; strong attention to detail and quality control mindset; good communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work under pressure and achieve targets; team player with accountability and positive attitude; basic knowledge of inventory handling and stock control.
Experience:

2-5 years in optical retail.
Education:

Diploma / Bachelor in Optics or related field.
