Key account manager

Responsible for developing and managing major equipment rental companies in Dammam and the Eastern Region of Saudi Arabia, with a focus on large rental companies, equipment rental groups, and other key accounts.

This is a key account development and field sales position. The successful candidate will be expected to regularly visit customers and project sites, build and maintain long-term relationships with business owners, procurement managers, fleet/equipment managers, and other key decision-makers, identify equipment purchasing, fleet replacement and expansion opportunities, and drive major projects and key account sales to successful closure.

• Develop, manage, and maintain long-term relationships with major equipment rental customers in Dammam and the Eastern Region.
• Conduct regular customer visits and build strong relationships with business owners, procurement managers, fleet/equipment managers, and other key decision-makers.
• Identify and develop new rental company customers and uncover opportunities for equipment purchases, fleet replacement, and fleet expansion.
• Understand customers’ equipment requirements, major rental projects, and fleet structure, and develop targeted account development plans.
• Recommend suitable construction equipment products and solutions based on customer needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle for key accounts, from needs identification, quotation, and commercial negotiation to project follow-up and order closure.
• Develop existing key accounts and increase customer share and long-term business volume.
• Monitor rental industry trends, competitors, and customer purchasing plans, and provide relevant market intelligence to support sales strategies.
• Follow up on key sales opportunities and maintain accurate information on project progress, expected orders, and closing timelines.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and key account development objectives.

• Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience in construction machinery, heavy equipment, or related industries.
• Proven experience in sales or key account management with major equipment rental companies.
• Strong understanding of the equipment rental industry, including customer profiles, purchasing processes, and equipment requirements.
• Experience with major equipment manufacturers such as Caterpillar, Komatsu, Doosan, JCB, Volvo CE, SANY, XCMG, or Zoomlion is highly preferred.
• Existing relationships with major equipment rental companies in Saudi Arabia, particularly in the Eastern Region, are highly preferred.
• Proven track record of strong sales performance, with demonstrable key account or major project experience.
• Strong capabilities in new business development, key account management, commercial negotiation, and project execution.
• Fluent English;
  Arabic language skills are highly preferred.
• Valid Saudi driving license and willingness to travel frequently for customer visits across the Eastern Region.

• 3+ years of sales experience since 2020 with Chinese equipment brands, such as XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, Hangcha, or Genie.
• Proven experience in developing and managing major equipment rental company customers.
• Strong knowledge of the Saudi Eastern Region market, particularly Dammam and surrounding areas.
• Demonstrated experience with key accounts and major projects, supported by strong and measurable sales performance.
