Senior Business Development Specialist - Land Freight

We are hiring a Senior Business Development Specialist - Land Freight for one of our clients in the logistics and road transportation industry in Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate will be a results-driven B2B sales professional with strong business development capabilities, a proactive approach to new customer acquisition, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.

This position focuses exclusively on Land Freight / Road Transportation sales, driving new business opportunities, acquiring shipper accounts, and expanding the customer base across Saudi Arabia.

• Identify, prospect, and acquire new B2B customers across Saudi Arabia, focusing on land freight and road transportation solutions.
• Generate business opportunities through cold calling, field visits, networking, referrals, and direct customer engagement.
• Manage the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, client meetings, proposals, pricing negotiations, and deal closure.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, shippers, and supply chain decision-makers.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Identify potential customers, new transportation lanes, and untapped market segments.
• Prepare competitive commercial proposals and quotations in coordination with internal teams.
• Maintain an active sales pipeline, update CRM records, and provide regular sales forecasts.
• Collaborate with operations and pricing teams to ensure service feasibility and profitable business acquisition.

• 2-5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development, preferably within logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or related industries.
• Candidates with sales experience in land freight, express delivery, warehousing, air freight, or sea freight are welcome to apply.
• Must be willing and comfortable selling exclusively Land Freight / Road Transportation services in this position.
• Proven track record of new customer acquisition, business development, and achieving sales targets.
• Good knowledge of the Saudi Arabian market and B2B customer landscape.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a target-driven, field-sales environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• English proficiency;
  Arabic language skills are strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities across KSA.

Candidates should be commercially driven, comfortable with frequent customer visits, and capable of independently managing their sales pipeline.
