About the RoleWe are hiring a ROS/ROS2 Developer to build software for robotics, autonomous systems, and connected platforms. The role involves developing nodes, integrating TVsensors and actuators, and working with embedded and edge-computer systems.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain ROS/ROS2 packages, nodes, and applications.
- Integrate sensors, actuators, controllers, and communication modules.
- Work on robot data flow, messaging, launch systems, and system integration.
- Support navigation, perception, control, mapping, or autonomy modules as needed.
- Interface ROS2 software with embedded firmware and companion computers.
- Debug performance, timing, and integration issues in Linux-based robotic platforms.
- Collaborate with firmware, electronics, and mechanical teams.
- Support testing, simulation, deployment, and documentation.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
. - Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in ROS / ROS2 Developer
.
- Strong experience with ROS or ROS2
- Proficiency in C++ and/or Python
- Strong Linux development and debugging skills
- Understanding of node architecture, topics, services, actions, TF, and launch files
- Sensor and actuator integration experience
- Familiar with camera, IMU, encoder, motor controller, or LiDAR integration
- Ability to troubleshoot real-time system integration issues
- Git and collaborative development workflow experience
- Navigation, SLAM, path planning, perception, or sensor fusion experience
- Simulation tools such as Gazebo or RViz
- Embedded Linux integration
- Experience with UAV, UGV, or autonomous robotic platforms
- Familiarity with CAN, serial, Ethernet, and middleware communication
- Strong debugging of multi-module robotic systems
