Transportation Team leader

The Transportation Team Leader at Ninja is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing and enhancing the efficiency of the transportation process. This position involves managing outgoing shipments, ensuring that all protocols are adhered to, and optimizing the logistics of our operations.

• Lead and mentor the transportation team to ensure timely shipments and efficiency in processing
• Monitor and address any backlogs or delays to maintain smooth operations
• Implement performance improvement plans for team members when necessary
• Ensure compliance with company policies regarding transfer orders and shipment processes
• Conduct regular safety inspections of loading equipment and work facilities
• Collaborate with warehousing and inbound teams to streamline processes and improve space utilization
• Create a positive team environment that fosters communication and collaboration
• Ensure correct loading procedures are followed to minimize product damage
• Verify that all outbound shipments meet Gate Pass requirements
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation
• Quickly identify and resolve operational issues to limit disruptions
• Prepare and manage necessary preparations for the next shift
• Update management regarding any shipment discrepancies and propose resolutions
• Work closely with other teams to ensure efficient order processing across the board
