The award‑winning Forbes 4‑Star and AAA 5‑Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Hair Stylist to join the team. Located in Dana Point, adjacent to Laguna Beach, this coastal town played an iconic role in California’s surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid‑back vibe and active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150‑foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and eight food and beverage outlets including restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and in‑room dining.

Classification: Part‑time

Shift: Various – must be available weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Pay Rate: $19.00 per hour plus commission, based on experience and location.

As a Hair Stylist, you will provide professional hair care and treatments to guests in the hotel’s continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. You will:

• Perform hair care services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlighting, updos, permanent waves and straightening
• Provide accurate information about salon products
• Utilize, maintain and conduct inventory of supplies and products
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Maintain records as required by federal, state, local and company regulations
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Perform general spa duties as needed
