The award-winning AAA 5-Diamond Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club is looking for a Turndown Attendant to join the Housekeeping team.
Located in Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, the resort features over 400 guest rooms and 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space with 8 food and beverage outlets including 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.
- Classification: Part-Time
- Shift: PM (5:00pm - 10:00pm) including weekends and holidays
- Pay Range: The hourly rate is $21.00 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
Responsibilities
- Provide turndown service, which includes partially removing and storing bedcover, fulfilling specified guest preferences (e.g., filling ice bucket), and replenishing amenities, linens and supplies
- Clean and stock guest rooms as assigned, including cleaning bathtub, toilet, sink, walls, mirrors, tiles, counters and floor surfaces
- Dust furniture, pictures, drawers, window ledges and shelves
- Replenish amenities, linens and supplies in guest rooms
- Vacuum and empty trash
- Dispose of trash and recyclables in accordance with the hotel's green guidelines
- Perform Room Attendant and other Housekeeping services as requested
- Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
