Role Description

This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Certified Water Manager located in Dana Point, CA, with flexibility. The Certified Water Manager will oversee water management programs, evaluate irrigation systems, and implement water‑efficient solutions. Responsibilities include monitoring water usage, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with clients to develop strategies for sustainable landscape water practices. The individual will also participate in field inspections and provide recommendations for optimization.

Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in water management, irrigation systems, and sustainable water usage practices
  • Proficiency in horticulture and landscape maintenance operations
  • Experience in strategic planning, project management, and environmental consulting
  • Proficient analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to evaluate systems and provide recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, team members, and stakeholders
  • 10 years of commercial landscape experience is required
  • Relevant certifications, such as Certified Water Manager or similar, are highly desirable
  • Knowledge of local and state water regulations and compliance requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred
