• Read and write English, interact with general public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings to customers, clients, and coworkers.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, and occasionally up to 60 pounds.

• Maintain a store section as assigned and stock merchandise using proper equipment (excluding power/heavy equipment).
• Ensure proper pricing, rotate stock, stock shelves and displays, and manage refrigerated/frozen cases.
• Prepare perishable products for sale as needed.
• Set up advertising/promotional displays.
• Keep sanitation standards in interior and exterior areas of store and parking lot as directed by management.
• Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous assistance to customers with current store and product information.
• Assist customers to their vehicles when requested.
• Perform basic bookkeeping duties, including recording lost/damaged goods and store supplies.
