Job Description
All About KidsWe are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our pediatric dental team. The office is busy, so the ideal candidate must be easy‑going, friendly, and ready to work. Responsibilities include interacting directly with patients, doctors, insurance providers, and answering a high volume of phones.
Have at least 2 years' experience in customer service/receptionist/ front desk duties; dental experience is a PLUS but not required.
Responsibilities of the Front Desk Receptionist/Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to:- Interacting in a high‑volume patient practice
- Learning schedule needs – checking patients in and out
- Computer savvy: no paper charting; all forms are completed electronically.
- Making recall appointments and confirming schedule
- Collecting payments and co‑pays
- Verifying insurance eligibility, contacting insurers when applicable
- Working with office managers, supervisors and the operations team to resolve issues and answer questions
Our ideal candidate must have strong communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills along with the ability to multi‑task in a growing, high‑volume environment.
Starting Pay:- Experienced Dental Receptionist: $20+ (depending on experience)
- Entry Level: Starts at $18+
- Career ladder plan offers opportunity for growth every 6 months based on performance and attendance!
Monday‑Friday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturdays 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Each Saturday requires one weekday off assigned.
LocationDanbury, Derby, Norwalk, Stamford and Bridgeport.
