We are currently seeking a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist for our Danbury location. The candidate should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.
The Treatment Coordinator is a liaison between the doctor and the patient. They assist in gathering information in the new patient experience, coordinate a treatment plan with the doctor, and present it to patients. They are knowledgeable about treatment and timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and prepared to negotiate financial arrangements. The coordinator provides a calm, warm environment for patients who are anxious about their dental needs.
They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices that share in the care of patients, ensuring referrals and correspondence are received and followed up.
- Greet & check in patients
- Handle heavy phone volume
- Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
- Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
- Enter patient treatment plans
- Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
- Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
- Follow up on patients with unscheduled treatment needed
- General office duties (printing, faxing, computer data entry, etc.)

- Excellent computer skills

- Ability to work within current office hours, including up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month
