New Milford Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist in New Milford, Connecticut, located about 80 miles outside of New York City in Litchfield County. Our busy and rapidly growing practice is in our new multispecialty center located in the hospital, with close proximity to the Hospital endoscopy suite. This is an excellent opportunity to join our expanding Digestive Health Institute and be part of our larger call group in Danbury with 15 physicians.
This position offers $75,000 sign on bonus / retention package plus relocation offered.

New Milford Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, has an excellent opportunity for a full-time Gastroenterologist in New Milford, Connecticut, located about 80 miles outside of New York City in Litchfield County. Our busy and rapidly growing practice is in our new multispecialty center located in the hospital, with close proximity to the Hospital endoscopy suite. This is an excellent opportunity to join our expanding Digestive Health Institute and be part of our larger call group in Danbury with 15 physicians.
This position offers $75,000 sign on bonus / retention package plus relocation offered.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified gastroenterologist with at least 3 years of post-fellowship training experience, who is used to practicing independently. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. There is also opportunity for a faculty appointment.
New Milford Hospital is a community hospital, serving the residents of the greater Litchfield County area in Connecticut for the past 100 years. Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year.
