As a Special Education Teacher, you will:

• Educate and support elementary students with special needs in a behavioral self-contained classroom.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and specialists to create a supportive learning environment.
• Utilize innovative teaching strategies to engage students and foster their growth.

• Master's degree in Special Education from an accredited institution.
• Valid CT SPED license with grade level endorsement.
• Experience working with elementary students in a behavioral self-contained classroom.
• Fingerprint clearance and CT DCF form.
• Experience in school settings, especially with special needs students, is a plus!
