At The Learning Experience, we are dedicated to creating a place where children learn, play, and grow through our proprietary curriculum and beloved cast of characters. We are seeking a passionate and organized Assistant Center Director to support daily center operations, develop our teaching team, and help create an exceptional experience for children and families.

• Partner with the Center Director to oversee daily center operations and ensure a positive, productive school culture.
• Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and coaching of teachers and staff.
• Help ensure compliance with Connecticut licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Support teachers in implementing The Learning Experience curriculum and maintaining excellence in the classroom.
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff while providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct center tours, assist with enrollment efforts, and support family retention initiatives.
• Assist with staffing, scheduling, payroll, inventory management, purchasing, and administrative responsibilities.
• Step into classrooms as needed to provide support, maintain ratios, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Help coordinate marketing initiatives, family events, and community outreach activities.

• Minimum of 1 year of childcare, daycare, or preschool leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut licensing regulations and childcare compliance requirements.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for early childhood education and the TLE mission of making a positive difference in the lives of children and families.
