Job Title: FP&A Manager
Location: Remote (Connecticut-based preferred)
We are seeking an FP&A Manager to join a high-performing finance organization within a manufacturing environment. This role is a highly analytical, hands-on position focused on financial modeling, forecasting, and executive-level reporting. The FP&A Manager will partner closely with senior leadership and have direct exposure to the Board of Directors, playing a critical role in driving insight, accountability, and value creation across the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Senior Analyst ready to step up or an FP&A Manager looking for increased visibility and impact.
ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning, Forecasting & Analysis
Design, build, and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making
Stand up and lead the forecasting process, including training stakeholders on methodology and tools
Lead monthly forecast reviews to identify risks and opportunities and improve forecast accuracy
Evaluate operating performance against plan, prior year, forecast, and industry benchmarks
Drive profitability and accountability to plan commitments at all levels
Develop high-quality reports and presentations for senior leadership and the Board of Directors
Translate large, complex data sets into clear, concise insights and recommendations
Partner with leadership to support quarterly performance reviews, annual budgeting, and strategic planning
Support development of business case analyses for growth initiatives
Support deployment and enhancement of planning, forecasting, and reporting tools
Drive improvements in financial reporting, analytics, and forecasting processes
Track and report on value creation initiatives, partnering with leadership to drive accountability
Support capital investment evaluations, restructuring initiatives, and working capital improvements
Support M&A activity, including financial diligence and analysis
Assess macroeconomic and market trends and link insights to strategic planning
Evaluate progress of growth initiatives and recommend course corrections as needed
Reports to the Senior Director of FP&A
No direct reports
Works closely with FP&A leadership and cost teams
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required (MBA preferred)
5+ years of financial and operational experience
Manufacturing experience required; aerospace experience a plus
Strong background in financial modeling, forecasting, and advanced analytics
Advanced Excel skills required; experience with Power BI, HFM, or similar tools strongly preferred
Proven ability to work with large data sets and summarize insights effectively
Extremely high attention to detail and strong integrity
Clear, direct, and confident communicator who can explain the “why” behind the numbers
Public accounting or heavy diligence background considered, especially for candidates stepping up
Fully remote
Base salary range: $120,000 – $140,000
Bonus eligible: 15%–30%, based on performance
